Dublin City Council is now accepting applications for immediate appointment to an unexpired term on the City’s Personnel Board of Review. This unexpired term continues to March 31, 2016.
Established in the Revised Charter, the Personnel Board of Review consists of three electors of the City who serve in overlapping three-year terms. The Board meets as needed to hear appeals; the Board does not have regularly scheduled meetings.
The Personnel Board of Review hears appeals from administrative determinations made pursuant to the City’s Code of Personnel Practices and Procedures for City employees. The PBR also is charged with hearing appeals of employees of the Dublin City Schools to decisions of the Dublin City Schools Board of Education.
All board and commission applicants must be residents of the City of Dublin and registered voters. Candidates selected as finalists will be asked to sign a criminal background check acknowledgement form, and the City will perform a criminal background check before any appointment is made. The deadline for receipt of applications is Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 5 p.m.
