Parkland acquisition continued this week as a $2.4 million purchase of land on the west side of the Scioto River was approved.
Dublin City Council members Dec. 9 unanimously approved the purchase of 7.54 acres along the Scioto River that is destined to become a park.
The city has been in the process of identifying land along the river for a new park announced in March, said Terry Foegler, Dublin’s director of strategic initiatives and special projects.
