Given the high priority that Dublin City Council has placed on the implementation of the Bridge Street District vision, final urban design recommendations are anticipated by early March 2013.
January 17 – Joint Work Session of City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission
The project consultant team shared initial urban design concepts for the Scioto River Corridor area and received direction from Council and Commission members regarding ideas for the relocation of Riverside Drive, park design, roundabout design and pedestrian bridge landing points. The consultant team also shared a vision describing how Dublin’s “civic center” can be expanded to both sides of the Scioto River through such catalytic public projects with high quality complementary adjacent private development including multifamily housing, retail, restaurants, office and parking.
March 4 – Joint Work Session of City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission
Meeting to be held at 6:30 PM in City Council Chambers. The consultant team will share updated concepts and key planning principles guiding the urban design framework at this City Council study session. The session will be recorded and the video will be posted online following the meeting.
