The City of Dublin offers three block party packages to civic and homeowners associations that include tents, chairs, tables, trash bins, sandwich boards, barricades and a sound system. The City of Dublin will offer this equipment package free of charge to each association once per calendar year. Association leadership may formally reserve the free block party package once a year between May 1 and Oct. 31. There will be a $50 fee for any additional reservation requests for each association within the same year. The City will deliver the package on Friday afternoon before 3 pm and pick up the following Monday after 6 am from one pre-determined location in your neighborhood. It is the responsibility for the neighborhoods to set up and tear down the equipment within these time constraints.
Please note that there are a total of three packages that may be reserved for an entire weekend. There are not three packages offered for each weekend day. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only official associations may rent this equipment. This rental is only available for neighborhood-hosted and entire neighborhood-invited gatherings. This package is not available nor intended, for personal use (i.e. graduation party, garage sale, personal event) and will be monitored for appropriate usage. If you are found to have abused this policy then you may be required to pay a $50 rental fee. If there is continued misuse of the block party packages, then privileges to future block party packages may be revoked.
