Sanitary Sewer Manhole Restoration Program
The City of Dublin is committed to ongoing improvements to its sewer system. Beginning the week of October 22, 2012 Municipal & Contractors Sealing Products Inc., a contractor hired by the City of Dublin, will begin a sewer manhole restoration program in Muirfield (see map). The estimated completion date is mid May 2013.
Questions or concerns? Please contact the City of Dublin Project Inspector Jeff Frambes 614.496.0773.

You should not experience any sanitary or water service outages as a result of this project.
- Make sure to keep children, pets and vehicles away from the construction area as contractors will need access to make the necessary repairs to the manholes.
2012 Muirfield Village Capital Improvement Projects
Water Line Replacement Project | Sewer Lining | AEP Cable
Improving and preserving the infrastructure of our resident neighborhoods is an investment in our City that adds value and high quality city services for our residents. The first phase of Muirfield Village was built 40 years ago. While these neighborhoods have maintained their beauty and real estate desirability – the infrastructure (sewer pipes, waterlines and underground utilities) are in need of repair and restoration.
In 2012, the City of Dublin will begin three Capital Improvement Projects, approved by Dublin City Council, designed to improve the infrastructure and services to sections of Muirfield Village.
While these improvements are needed and will extend the life of waterlines, sewer lines and underground electric cable – we understand there may be some inconveniences to residents during the construction. We want to provide you updated information, maps and contact information to direct questions and concerns.
2012 Sewer lining
Phase 2 sewer renewal project will continue in Muirfield Village in July
The City of Dublin’s contractor Layne Christensen Company/Reynolds Inliner, LLC, will begin the sewer lining project Monday, June 18. Initially they will be cleaning and televising the sanitary sewers of Inverurie Dr. W & E. including Dunskeath & Monifieth Courts, Caithness Dr. and/or Deeside Drive.
We will continue to keep you informed through the Muirfield Association e-news, the City’s website and the interactive map below that will track the project’s status and progression.
CIPP is a state-of the-art installation of flexible pipe into the existing clay tile pipe. Burns said CIPP will increase the life of the sanitary sewer pipe by 30 to 50 years, as well as re-establish the integrity of the sanitary sewer system by reducing clean water infiltration.
Some residents will need to reduce their water use for several hours during the lining process. City staff and/or Layne Christensen Company/Reynolds Inliner will personally notify these residents.
See Fact Sheet for more information and map for areas to be lined.
