Back when his fast-growing HR outsourcing firm was pretty much office-squatting on the vacated space next door “until the landlord showed up,” Bill Hutter could not foresee that Sequent Inc. would one day be a $200 million company.
One thing he did know was he had no fallback.
“There is no Plan B,” Hutter said. “When you know deep in your gut what you’re doing is right, failure is not an option. As soon as someone starts to think about a Plan B, the vision gets compromised.”
