The City of Dublin and the Columbus Metropolitan Library are requesting that Dublin City Council table the Basic Plan reviews scheduled for the proposed new parking garage and library facility at the Monday March 20, 2017 City Council meeting.
This delay will provide both the CML and the City (and their respective design teams) additional time needed to more fully consider and assess the various comments and suggestions they have received on these projects, some as recently as March 13.
The CML Executive Director Patrick Losinski has indicated that his team is committed to continue working closely with Dublin City leaders to coordinate their plans on these important civic projects which include both the new library branch and the City’s 540-space parking garage.
Similarly, Dublin City Manager Dana McDaniel noted the City will continue to work closely with the CML and other members of our broader Dublin community to ensure that the implementation of these critically important civic facilities will be highly successful.
“We anticipate returning to Dublin City Council in the near future with our Basic Plan submittal,” said Losinski. “CML continues to be committed to bringing a new 21st century library to the deserving residents of Dublin.”
