“This new partnership represents a unique solution to our growing demand for programming,” said Tracey Gee, Director of Recreation Services. “We’re excited to expand services beyond the Dublin Community Recreation Center to residents of Avondale and all members of the community.”
“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with the City of Dublin,” said Debbie Cassel, Community Manager for National Church Residences Avondale. “We invite members of the community to take advantage of quality programs and activities right here at Avondale Senior Village–a great place to call home. The benefits of this partnership are endless and will provide opportunities for everyone to enhance their quality of life.”
This effort is a beta test to explore new partnership opportunities in order to provide new program and service options for the community. Information on program offerings is listed at DublinOhioUSA.gov/avondale.
Additionally the City’s Kids In Dublin Service (KIDS) volunteer program consisting of young volunteers grades K-5 is engaging Avondale residents in volunteer projects throughout the year. In January, KIDS along with Avondale residents made Valentine’s Day cards for patients at Dublin Methodist Hospital. To inquire about the program or get involved, email email@example.com.
