(Dublin, OH) Dublin’s Fleet has placed 22nd in the Top 50 Green Fleets in North America. This program is administered by the 100 Best Fleets in North America. Dublin was the only Ohio city to make the Top 50 list. Dublin placed 28th in 2015.
“This is our fifth year to be ranked and we are moving on up!” says Dublin Fleet Manager Darryl Syler. “We continue to improve and thrive thanks to the hard work of the Fleet Management staff and the support of our City Council, City Manager and Public Works Director.”
The Government Green Fleet Award is open to all Federal, State, and Local Government Fleets in North America.
The ranking is based on evaluation standards, which are divided into several key categories:
- Fleet Composition
- Fuel & Emissions
- Policy & Planning
- Fleet Utilization
- Executive & Employee Involvement
- Supporting Programs
This ranking is in addition to the fleet’s designation as a three-star Ohio Green Fleet, which Dublin earned from Clean Fuels Ohio earlier this month. You can read more about that designation on the City’s website.
