(Dublin, OH) – A rash of spare tire thefts have occurred in Dublin prompting Dublin Police to urge residents to be vigilant. The thefts have primarily occurred between 1 – 6 p.m. on weekdays. Suspects have been primarily targeting vehicles with a rear-mounted, full spare tires (such as Honda CRVs or Jeep Wranglers) and have been seen driving a white or silver four-door sedan.
Dublin has experienced eight such thefts, though neighboring jurisdictions have seen additional thefts. Dublin Police recommend parking your vehicle in well-lit areas and report any suspicious activity to police at 614.889.1112.
