Update: Due to construction challenges, the city of Columbus anticipates the Glick Road Bridge will reopen Thursday June 29, 2017 at the earliest.
The bridge over the O’Shaughnessy Dam and Scioto River, owned and maintained by the City of Columbus, Division of Water, is being resurfaced. Columbus has notified the City of Dublin that it anticipates the bridge deck resurfacing will require the complete closure of Glick Road over O’Shaughnessy Dam.
Informational and detour signage will be placed along the impacted traffic routes to inform the public of the closure closer to the beginning of construction. The City of Columbus recognizes the inconvenience this closure will cause for those impacted, but pledges to make every effort to minimize the inconvenience while allowing adequate time for safe and long-lasting repairs that will serve the community well into the future.
The City of Columbus will provide updates on its construction information website, pavingtheway.org. The City of Dublin will also use its website and social media platforms to communicate any updates provided by Columbus.
