(DUBLIN, Ohio) – The City of Dublin and the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau have forged a unique partnership with Experience Columbus that enhances the Greater Columbus Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Program to include a separate Dublin component. Upon completion of this dual course program, participants will earn both the Certified Tourism Ambassador designation and the new “Welcome to My Dublin” ambassador designation.
After successfully earning the CTA designation, participants will attend a high-energy, interactive “Lunch and Learn,” including food stations and giveaways. Finally, a 20-minute presentation highlighting Dublin’s destinations and amenities will earn participants the “Welcome to My Dublin” ambassador designation.
As an accredited provider, Experience Columbus administers the official Certified Tourism Ambassador designation on behalf of the Tourism Ambassador Institute, the national oversight body for the certification program. The CTA program increases participant’s knowledge of the region in order to provide the best experience for visitors.
The “Welcome to My Dublin” program is designed to improve the visitor experience and promote the City of Dublin’s amenities and destinations to visitors and residents alike.
Experience Columbus will host four Certified Tourism Ambassador courses in Dublin. Courses will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. There is a $29 fee to attend the course. Course dates and locations include:
