Skip the printing, writing, envelopes, stamps and checks—file and pay your taxes online with E-File and E-Pay.
To E-File, use the Account Number on the postcard you received in the mail, or use the Account Lookup feature. Digital copies (PDF, JPG or TIF) of any and all required return forms are accepted, such as: Form W2, 1099 or Federal 1040 and Schedules C, E and F. Upon completion of the return, you will receive a confirmation number indicating your return was successfully filed.
Extensions to file are not extensions of time to pay; if an extension has been granted by the IRS, it will be honored by the City of Dublin.
If your tax liability (after credits) is anticipated to be greater than $200, you are required to make quarterly estimated payments (April 15, June 15, September 15, January 15).
You can file jointly with the City of Dublin even if you filed separately for the IRS. There is no advantage to filing separately at the municipal level and it would greatly help us to process returns more expediently and more efficiently.
You cannot file a request for a refund electronically (unless the taxpayer is under 18 and has previously filed for a Dublin refund). However you can file electronically if you are carrying any credit forward.
Requests for refunds must be submitted on paper with proper documentation attached and sent to: City of Dublin, Division of Taxation, PO Box 800, Dublin, Ohio 43017-0900
E-Pay is a convenient electronic payment option for paying any taxes due. Payment can be made by credit card (Master Card, Visa or Discover Card). Please note the card company charges a convenience fee, currently 2.65% of the total amount remitted.
