Franklin Street Extension

Franklin Street will be reconstructed between Sells Alley and Bridge Street to include on-street parking and brick sidewalks. During Phase 2 of the project, Franklin Street will be extended north of Bridge Street to North Street as a two-lane road with on-street parking. Improving the infrastructure that serves our City is an investment that adds value and high-quality amenities for residents and visitors.

Work Status

• Phase 1: Franklin Street will be reconstructed between Sells Alley and Bridge Street to include on-street parking and brick sidewalks.
• Phase 2: Franklin Street will be extended north of Bridge Street to North Street as a two-lane road with on-street parking.
• Work is weather dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.

Traffic Impact

• Beginning Monday, March 20, Franklin Street will close to traffic between Sells Alley and Bridge Street for approximately two months.
• Two-way traffic will be maintained on Bridge Street at all times for the duration of the project.

Completion Date
