The City of Dublin Announces Ann Wilson as the Headlining Act for the Independence Day Evening Celebration

(Dublin, Ohio) – Ann Wilson, lead singer of the bands Heart and Tripsitter, will headline the City of Dublin’s Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4 at Dublin Coffman Stadium.

Ann Wilson is the founder and the lead singer-songwriter of the barrier-breaking band Heart. Her powerful voice and passionate performances have made her one of the most influential rock artists of all time. Wilson has earned record sales of more than 35 million, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award.

With hits like “Barracuda,” “Crazy On You,” and “Magic Man” she is no stranger on the list of rock’s greatest hits. Prior to starting their summer tour, Wilson & Tripsitter put the finishing touches on a new album of original material.

Reserved Table Sales:

Online sales are returning! Reserved tables will not be sold in person. Dublin residents only may purchase one table per household on the stadium field. Reserved tables are $200 each and seat up to eight people (children 4 and up require a ticket).

To purchase a table, follow these simple steps:

  1. PRIOR to June 5: Set up/Confirm Your Rec Center Account
Dublin residents interested in purchasing a table must verify their residency and have an active account with the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC). To check your current account or activate a free account, click here.
  2. June 5-June 6: Register for the Table Sale
Dublin residents with an active DCRC account can register for the table sale starting at 10 a.m. on June 5. Registration will end at midnight on June 6. On June 7, confirmed registrants will be separated into groups and notified of their assigned time slot for the online table sale, scheduled for June 8 and 9. The earlier a resident registers for the table sale, the earlier time slot he/she will get to purchase a table (similar to airline check-in and boarding groups).
  3. June 8-9: Online Table Sale
On the day of the assigned timeslot, registrants can log in, select and purchase a table. Tickets will be emailed to the buyer. Individual tickets can be transferred to other guests electronically. Wristbands will be distributed at the event or can be picked up in advance at the DCRC June 25-July 3.

If reserved tables remain after the initial Table Sale on June 8-9, Dublin residents can purchase a table starting on June 13. Table sales will open to the general public starting on June 15, until they are sold out.

VIP Tables:

Interested in a VIP table for 8 at the evening celebration? A prime-location table and a parking pass are included with each VIP package for $1000. Individuals and companies will be recognized for their partnerships on the City of Dublin website and at the evening celebration.
