In the City of Dublin, we are constantly working to improve the quality of our roads. Starting the week of Oct. 11, the intersections of Eiterman & Woerner Temple roads and Eiterman Road & Ballantrae Place have been selected for paver replacement. One intersection will be closed at a time.
The expected schedule of construction is as follows:
- Oct. 13 – Nov. 1: Eiterman Road & Woerner Temple Road closure
- Nov. 2 – 24: Eiterman Road & Ballantrae Place closure
*Schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2021.
These improvements will enhance safety for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians. They will also enhance the appearance of the intersections while reducing the frequency of required maintenance.
The City strives to minimize inconveniences as improvements are made. Closing one intersection at a time is the safest option for construction crews and drivers. Additionally, closing the intersections allows the project to be completed in a shorter time, which will avoid winter work.
Detours will be posted directing drivers to use main roadways including Woerner Temple, Eiterman, Rings, Cosgray, Avery and Shier Rings roads. The shared use paths at the intersections will be closed to ensure safety.
* Local traffic may use neighborhood streets as alternate routes.
