Expanded Dining Areas and Temporary Portable Structures
City Manager Dana McDaniel recently signed two temporary emergency orders to help support businesses and restaurants opening up under the COVID-19 State’s Responsible RestartOhio Plan. These orders are intended to support operations and social/physical distancing required by the State’s Restart Plan. These temporary amendments will immediately cease upon termination of the State of Emergency or as otherwise mandated by the City Manager and the portable structures and temporary uses will be required to be removed and the site restored.
Temporary Outdoor Dining Patios
A business may temporarily expand their outdoor dining and eating area outside of the currently designated/approved location to allow for increased social distancing related to COVID-19. These temporary amendments will immediately cease upon termination of the State of Emergency or as otherwise mandated by the City Manager and the expanded outdoor dining and seating will be required to be removed and the site restored. Portable Structures and Temporary Uses
Portable Nonresidential Structures. A business may temporarily erect a building(s) or similar structure(s) designed for occupation which is not placed on a permanent foundation to allow for testing, waiting or staging related to COVID-19. The definition shall include construction trailers, portable classrooms, tents, trailers and other similar structures. While City buildings are closed until further notice to reduce the community spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), City services are continuing as scheduled. It is with deep disappointment that The City of Dublin announces the cancellation of the 33rd annual Dublin Irish Festival set for July 31, Aug. 1-2, 2020. Since the 2020 Dublin Irish Festival has been canceled, here are some new ways to celebrate
The City of Dublin Department of Taxation has extended the due date for filing and paying your Dublin 2019 annual tax return and for individual and business taxpayers to July 15, 2020. First and second quarter estimated payments for tax year 2020 will also be due on July 15, 2020. Building permit activity can be conducted online at the links below. Counter staff are prepared to take your calls at 614.410.4670. If absolutely necessary, staff will meet in person by appointment only. Inspections will be scheduled online and by phone.
