Statewide Mask Order
Governor Mike DeWine issued a State Order which went into effect for all citizens living in all 88 Ohio counties on Thursday, July 23, at 6 p.m. All individuals in Ohio, 10 years and older, must wear facial coverings in public at all times when:
- At an indoor location that is not a residence
- Outdoors, when unable to maintain a consistent six-foot physical distance from people who are not household members
- Waiting for, riding, driving, or operating public transportation, such as a taxi, a car service, or a private car used for ride-sharing.

Franklin County Board of Health Executive Order Mandates Face Coverings
On July 14th, 2020, the Franklin County Board of Health
issued an Executive Order requiring all residents and visitors in Franklin County to wear a face covering indoors, except at a residence, and outdoors where consistent six-feet of physical distance can’t consistently be maintained. Children under 10 are not required to wear a face covering, and there are a few other exceptions noted in the Order. The Order applies to all of the City of Dublin (including portions in Union and Delaware Counties) as Franklin County Public Health is the City’s health agency. View the County Order

Expanded Dining Areas and Temporary Portable Structures
City Manager Dana McDaniel recently signed two temporary emergency orders to help support businesses and restaurants opening up under the COVID-19 State’s Responsible RestartOhio Plan. These orders are intended to support operations and social/physical distancing required by the State’s Restart Plan. These temporary amendments will immediately cease upon termination of the State of Emergency or as otherwise mandated by the City Manager and the portable structures and temporary uses will be required to be removed and the site restored.
Temporary Outdoor Dining Patios
A business may temporarily expand their outdoor dining and eating area outside of the currently designated/approved location to allow for increased social distancing related to COVID-19. These temporary amendments will immediately cease upon termination of the State of Emergency or as otherwise mandated by the City Manager and the expanded outdoor dining and seating will be required to be removed and the site restored. Portable Structures and Temporary Uses
Portable Nonresidential Structures. A business may temporarily erect a building(s) or similar structure(s) designed for occupation which is not placed on a permanent foundation to allow for testing, waiting or staging related to COVID-19. The definition shall include construction trailers, portable classrooms, tents, trailers and other similar structures.
