DiRECt to Your Community Park
Experience your favorite Dublin parks in a whole new way. This summer, the Dublin Community Recreation Center is bringing the fun outdoors for the entire community. No need to register in advance.

Let’s Rock–Explore Geology in Dublin Parks
Sunday, November 10, 2-3pm | Indian Run Falls
Take a hike in the park and observe the lay of the land. Learn the story rocks can tell about the past; how they formed and changed through ice ages and over geological times. This program is geared for adults, but children ages 5+ are welcome with guardian. Bring water and dress appropriately. Meet in parking lot. No registration required.
Black Thumb Gardening
Sunday, December 8, 2-3pm | Dublin Community Recreation Center
Do you claim to lack a green thumb? Learn some simple, fail-safe ways to enjoy plants! Create your own herb garden planter suitable for indoor or outdoor patios or replanting in the garden. No registration required.
DiRECt to Your Neighborhood
We’re pleased to offer two options for neighborhoods—view custom program options below, or book a block party package here.
Perfect for neighborhood leaders planning get-togethers for the entire neighborhood, or individuals looking for unique gatherings with neighbors, friends or family. Select from our menu of services, submit a request, and we’ll do the rest.
Residents and school district residents may submit a request. Activities must be held in your nearest park or green space between June and September. Fees vary based on activity, supplies and staffing. All requests will need to be submitted at least 30 days prior to your preferred date of program. All request forms should be submitted prior to August 16 for this season. Program date is contingent upon instructor availability. Contact Erin Duffee at eduffee@dublin.oh.us with any questions.

Arts and Crafts:
Family Paint in the Park
Bring your family to the park and create fun summer memories with us! Each family is provided a mini art canvas to create a work of art to take home and display. We even have pre-designed canvases for the younger family members to paint. All supplies and materials provided.
Minimum: 10 people/Max 20 people, $150 flat fee for up to 20 people.
Family Art in the Park
Bring your family to the park and create fun summer memories with us! Explore three craft stations and create cool art projects to take home and display utilizing a variety of art mediums and techniques. All supplies and materials provided.
Minimum: 10 people/ Max 20 people, $150 flat fee for up to 20 people.
Family/Adult:
Hot Mess Canvas
We’ll take a blank canvas and create a masterpiece. Utilizing paint, vinyl and some creativity, these “hot mess canvases” will be transformed into fun, whimsical pieces of art. You’ll be able to choose from several designs. Participants will engage in a fun new form of art. Make this a fun outing with friends.
Minimum: 5 participants/ Maximum 12 participants, $300 flat fee for up to 12 people
DIY Wooden Wall Art
In this fun DIY class we’ll provide the blank wood, you’ll provide a positive attitude, creativity, and little elbow grease. We’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of prepping, staining and painting your board. Participants will choose their design prior to class. This class’s theme is first/last names. We’ll provide non-alcoholic beverages. This will be a messier project so disposable tarp, tablecloths, aprons, and plastic gloves will be provided for the space.
Minimum: 5 /Maximum 12 participants, $360 flat fee for up to 12 people.
Health and Wellness:
Outdoor Yoga
Suitable for all levels. Good choice for beginners. Flow & Stretch is a combination of vinyasa flow and yin yoga. A blend of yang/yin; the first portion of class is a slower-paced flow through sun salutations and standing postures, geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a gentler practice.
Minimum: 2 Participants/Maximum 20 participants, $150 flat fee for up to 20 participants per session.
Outdoor Meditation
Tight hips, tight shoulders, tight back? Then you came to the right class, learn stretches that will improve mobility and flexibility followed by a guided meditation. Meditation is to engage in reflection and is more than just sitting in silence. In fact meditation has shown to improve sleep quality, improve memory, increase focus, and decrease stress. Come with me through guided meditations to learn techniques that will allow for relaxation and a greater self-awareness.
Minimum 2 participants/ Maximum: 15 participants, $189 flat fee for up to 15 participants per session.
Boot Camp Class
This Boot camp style fitness class is a great way to burn more fat, improve endurance and build strength. You will do a combination of fun, yet challenging cardiovascular and strength exercises, with some interval training mixed in.
Minimum 2 participants/ Maximum: 20 participants, $170 flat fee for up to 20 participants per session.
