The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities has contracted with the firm Utility Revenue Management (URM) to perform an audit on its sewer and water customer billing and metering systems. The audit includes all customers that are billed by the City of Columbus and will include field surveys, which may involve visits with water and sewer customers.
The project will occur over the next three years, starting with commercial accounts this year and followed by residential accounts next year. URM staff will have a Columbus issued identification badge including a picture, name and references. URM vehicles will have a sign indicating who they are and a contact number for questions.
