The initiative to redevelop Dublin’s downtown district is moving along largely behind the scenes, the but the city is offering some new glimpses of what could be.
At the recent State of the City address, Dublin officials displayed new proposals for development along the Bridge Street Corridor from the historic downtown along Route 161 to Sawmill Road. Its grand plans for creating a walkable urban core, complete with a riverside park, pedestrian bridge spanning the Scioto River, parking structures, and a redesigned public library have been discussed for years, with more headway of late.
