AEP Ohio is beginning work to improve electric reliability and support economic development in northwest Columbus and the Dublin area with a Bethel-Sawmill Transmission Line rebuild. To accommodate this work, the recreation path between Summit View Rd. and Wyandotte Woods Blvd., on the western edge of Emerald Fields, will be closing the week of July 20. This is a long-term path closure needed as AEP rebuilds approximately five miles of transmission line between Bethel Road to just north of Summit View Road. The path is expected to remain closed until January 2021.
Additionally, there will be temporary lane closures on Hard Road just west of Emerald Parkway and on Coventry Woods Drive near Emerald Parkway controlled by traffic control devices and flaggers as necessary.
