COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR BRIDGE STREET DISTRICT FINANCING APPROVED
Dublin City Council unanimously approved a proposed cooperative agreement (7-0) between the City of Dublin and the Dublin City School District to advance the implementation of the Bridge Street District announced on March 21. The Dublin City School Board also took action on the cooperative agreement approving unanimously in favor of the cooperative agreement at their Board of Education meeting April 14.
This partnership provides a predictable annual income stream of $1.5 million to the Dublin City School District dedicated for strategic investments in technology advancements, and the ability for the City of Dublin to implement the vision of the Bridge Street District by providing long-term financing tools for the public infrastructure improvements necessary to create the vibrant, more densely developed, walkable neighborhoods in the Bridge Street District.
