“It is an honor to be recognized among the best of the best in Central Ohio public relations,” Director of Communications & Public Information Lindsay Weisenauer says. “We are especially proud of the recognition for Dublin’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Framework. That fundamental document is the result of a year-long effort by our Community Task Force, which was established by Dublin City Council and entrusted with identifying long-term community goals and solutions to defeat social injustice, bias, bigotry, inequity and racism.”
“This was an extensive undertaking that resulted in an aspirational Framework, which is now serving as the guide for Dublin City leadership to build a strong, thriving, diverse and equitable community,” says Public Information Officer Rebecca Myers, who serves as a staff liaison for the City’s diversity, equity and inclusion committees. “Recognition for this effort affirms the ongoing dedication of the Dublin community and highlights Central Ohio PRSA’s commitment to showcasing work that fights injustice.”
The annual PRism award competition recognizes organizations and companies across Central Ohio in more than two dozen different categories. The Central Ohio Chapter of the PRSA is a leader in furthering the development of Columbus’ public relations professionals. Founded by a small group in 1951, the organization has grown to serve more than 350 members in the agency, corporate, government and nonprofit sectors.
