(Dublin, OH) — The City of Dublin is announcing operations plans for its indoor and outdoor pools for the end of summer season and indoor lap pool improvements.
The Dublin Community Pool South (6363 Woerner Temple Rd.) will close Aug. 18 for the 2021 season due to lifeguard and staff availability after the school year begins. Without the proper staffing, the pool cannot operate safely.
The North Pool (5660 Dublinshire Dr.), leisure pool at Dublin Community Recreation Center (5600 Post Rd.) and Ballantrae Community Park spray fountains (6350 Woerner Temple Rd.) will remain available to residents and season-pass holders.
“Continuing to provide a safe swimming experience for our guests is our top priority,” Director of Parks and Recreation Matt Earman says. ”Our lifeguards have a done a great job this season, and as many of them return to school, we are focused on ensuring a safe and fun experience by making certain the newly renovated North Pool is fully staffed for our community.”
Based on historical end-of-season attendance, the North Pool will be able to accommodate all patrons after the South Pool is closed this summer.
