Push Play on Summer Fun
To increase awareness of the physical, mental, social and developmental benefits the City’s Parks & Recreation programs and spaces have to offer, the City (in conjunction with the National Recreation and Park Association) is celebrating National Park and Recreation Month with activities throughout the month of July.
Park and Recreation Month is an opportunity to highlight the City’s mission of supporting a high quality of life by providing residents places to exercise, socialize and enjoy nature. In Dublin that means 61 parks, 130+ miles of paths, recreation programs for all ages, world-class events, and enriching volunteer opportunities.
This year’s celebrations will look a little different. In addition to Dublin’s more than 60 parks, the City’s Parks and Recreation Department is providing a variety of safe and fun recreation and leisure activities through virtual, in-person and at-home opportunities.
The theme for the City’s 2020 Park and Recreation Month campaign is “Push Play on Summer Fun.” Stay in the loop and join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #PushPlayDublin.
