February is a great time to focus on our loved ones and what they mean to us! The City of Dublin has created some fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day from sending cards to seniors to looking for heart-shaped signs in our parks — we have something for everyone to share acts of kindness and love this month.

Dublin Shows Heart
Spread Love to Dublin Seniors
Isolation and feelings of loneliness amongst Dublin’s most vulnerable population are just as prevalent now as they were at the beginning of the pandemic. As a community, we can show our support by wrapping our arms around our local senior living facilities with notes and cards of love and encouragement for Valentine’s Day.
Guidelines for Card Writing
– Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before you start!
– Be creative. You can add things to your card/drawing like stickers, cut-outs, glitter, etc.
– Create your own card or download this fun template to get your creativity flowing!
– Write special messages that let the seniors know you are thinking of them and wishing them well.
– Write BIG and dark so those who may have difficulty reading small print can easily see your words.
– Bright, colorful drawings/pictures are welcome and encouraged!Dropping off Completed Cards
Due date: Please have your cards dropped off by Feb. 10, 2021.
Where to drop off: Completed Valentine cards can be dropped off in marked bins at
– The vestibule at the Dublin Service Center (6555 Shier Rings Rd. Dublin, OH 43016) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– Main entrance near the flagpole of the Dublin Community Recreation Center (5600 Post Rd. Dublin, OH 43017) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Special request: Please put your cards inside a zip lock bag so they are not damaged when other cards are dropped in the box.All submitted cards will be collected by City staff and delivered to senior living facilities throughout Dublin to spread love and joy!
