The Dublin Community Recreation Center reopened Tuesday, Sept. 7, following its annual closure for cleaning, maintenance and repairs. Become a member today!
The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, for annual deep cleaning, preventive maintenance and repairs that are not possible while the facility is in use by patrons.
The DCRC will reopen at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Offices will be staffed for phone calls (614.410.4550) from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday the week of Aug. 30.
Cleaning, Maintenance and Repairs Checklist
- Drain the pools
- Clean the pools
- Refill the pools
- Replace lights
- Complete high dusting
- Clean air ducts

New Updates for 2021
- Install a new HVAC system for the lap pool that will be more energy-efficient, improve circulation and enhance air-quality.
- Add new carpeting to select areas.
- Paint walls that need touched up.
- Based on DCRC member feedback, most of the bikes will remain in the lobby behind the check-in desk.

There are no fees to participate, regardless of membership or pass holder status. If you enjoy these classes, we recommend purchasing a Group Fitness Pass online, or when the Recreation Center reopens. Check the Group Fitness Calendar for the class schedule and descriptions.

Classes will be canceled if inclement weather occurs.
There will be additional lap swimming times to accommodate guests impacted by the closure of the DCRC lap pool. Lap lanes will be open for lap swimming from 6 to 10 a.m. Mondays through Fridays Aug. 18–27, for season-pass and DCRC members only.
The Ballantrae Community Park spray fountains are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day, Sept. 6. Admission is not required for the spray fountains, which are located across from the South Pool.
