aregenerated froma sixpercent taxonovernight stays inDublin’s 14hotels. In2013, $1,926,307
was collected. TheDublinConventionandVisitorsBureauand theDublinArtsCouncil each receive
approximately25%of the fundannually. Inaddition to fundingCityofDublinevents, the fund
supports cultural arts, beautificationprojects, improvements toHistoricDublin, special events and
other projects that appeal tovisitors.
