TheCity launchedSnowGo, anewonline tool that usesGPS tracking to showwhich streets
havebeenplowedor saltedandhow long it hasbeen sinceeach street hasbeen treated.
The systemwasdesigned to improve safetyandcommunication, givingDublin residents
unprecedentedaccess to real-time informationandassisting thosewhocoordinate the
City’s snow removal e orts. The systemhasbeen successfully integrated into theCity’s
snow removal andcommunicationplans for allwinterweather events. Its simpleand
interactivedesignhavemade it avaluableasset for bothwebandmobiledeviceusers,
strengtheningDublin’s reputationas a leader indigital technologyuse. SnowGoalso
provides informationon theCity’s snow removal prioritization systemandhelps explain
whycertain streets areplowedbeforeothers.
