Accessibility Information

Parade

The parade begins at 11 a.m. in Metro Center and continues through Historic Dublin. Attendees can expect over 100 units including marching bands, equestrian teams, floats and novelty/antique vehicles.

Accessible Parking and Parade Viewing

Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Sells Middle School, 150 W. Bridge Street. To access the parking lot, please ensure you arrive by 10:15 a.m. Road closures will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m.

There is a designated viewing area for senior citizens and guests with disabilities in front of Mr. Tire at 218 West Bridge Street.

Dublin Connector

Dublin Connector — The Dublin Connector bus will operate special hours for the 2025 Independence Day Parade. Residents 55 years of age or older and individuals with disabilities can call 1.833.742.7333 to schedule a ride.

  • One caregiver may join the rider and must be included in the reservation.
  • Pick-up/Drop-off at Sells Middle School (near the designated parade viewing area)
  • Drop-off will take place between 10:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., and pick-up will begin at the conclusion of the 2025 Independence Day Parade, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The Dublin Connector is sponsored by the City of Dublin and operated by SHARE Mobility. To use the Dublin Connector, riders should create a SHARE Mobility account. Trips must be booked at least two hours in advance and can be booked through the SHARE Mobility app, the Dublin Connector website or by calling 833.742.7333.

Evening Celebration

The evening celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. at Dublin Coffman High School. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with family and friends as we light up the sky in honor of our nation’s birthday!

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Dublin Coffman High School stadium parking lot. Please have your placard visible to access the Parking Lot.

Drop-Off/Pick-up

There is a drop-off/pick-up area located at the north Coffman High School parking lot. Due to road closures and traffic patterns after the event, pick-up may not be available until after 11 p.m.

Caregivers

The City of Dublin offers complimentary admission for a caregiver assisting a guest with a disability to the Independence Day Evening Celebration. Tickets are available on site at the Gate 2 ticket sales tent. To be eligible, the guest with a disability must have a paid ticket. Caregivers must always remain with the guest to assist in their full participation in the City of Dublin’s Independence Day Evening Celebration.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the southeast corner of the main stands at the City of Dublin’s Independence Day Evening Celebration. It is recommended that guests utilizing a wheelchair enter the stadium through Gate 2. A ramp for access to the main stands is located just inside Gate 2.

Sensory Bags

A limited number of sensory bags are available to be signed out for the day at Gate 2 Ticket Sales. Sensory bags include sound reducing headphones and sensory tools.

Bags must be returned to Gate 2 Ticket Sales at the end of each visit and are sanitized before the next use.

There is no cost to use a sensory bag, but guests signing out a sensory bag must provide their contact information.

Water

The Independence Day Evening Celebration offers a water refill station free of charge. The water refill station is located just inside gate 3 on the east side of the stadium. To take advantage of the refill station, please bring a reusable water bottle. Vendors are also available for food and drinks for purchase.

Restrooms and Companion Restrooms

The City of Dublin Independence Day Evening Celebration offers accessible restrooms throughout the stadium grounds.

Lighting and Sound Sensitivity

Lighting and sound effects may be used throughout our Independence Day Parade and Evening Celebration. Should you or any member of your party have a photosensitivity, seizure disorder, or sensitivity to loud noises, we recommend consulting your physician prior to your visit.

Service Animals

Trained Service Animals are welcome at the Independence Day Evening Celebration. Service animals are defined as a dog that has been trained to perform tasks for an individual with disabilities. Service animals must be leashed, under the owner’s control and must always display appropriate behavior while visiting the Independence Day Evening Celebration. Animals must meet the definition of a Service Animal to be admitted.

Why JustFOIA?

JustFOIA is a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) online application that helps streamline the open records request process for the community and improve efficiencies in getting requested information quickly and accurately.

The application lets community members submit requests for all city records, including police reports. Commonly requested information includes accident reports, copies of resolutions and body-camera video.

Revised Charter of Dublin, Ohio

This Revised Charter, as adopted on March 19, 1996, became effective on July 4, 1996.

Zoning Code

The Zoning Code for Dublin is Chapter 153 of the Dublin Code of Ordinances. The Zoning Code sets land development requirements and establishes different uses within individual districts. Zoning regulations address the physical development of a site, such as building height, lot requirements, setbacks from lot lines, minimum numbers of parking spaces, sign types and sizes, and other related regulations.
