Grand Leprechaun Nomination
Application Deadline Friday, Nov. 22, 2024
Selection Criteria
- Must be an active leader(s) in the community on a volunteer basis
- Must have been involved in service projects or volunteer efforts outside of work requirements in the past year
- May not be a current elected official or running for office
- May not have been recognized by the City in the past five years
- Nominations made anonymously will not be considered
- May Reside outside of Dublin
Grand Leprechaun Roles
- Serve as media spokesperson
- Preside over the 2025 parade
- Judge the float decorating contest at the parade
- Attend the Grand Leprechaun luncheon following the parade
- Participate in the opening parade at the Dublin Irish Festival
Honorary Chair
Application Deadline Friday, Nov. 29, 2024
Selection Criteria
- Must be a financial supporter of the Dublin Irish Festival*
- Must be of Irish heritage and/or supporter of Irish culture and the Festival
- Must be a contributor to the Dublin community
- Must be a recognized Dublin and/or Central Ohio community leader
- Must attend the Dublin Irish Festival
- May not have been recognized by the City in the past five years
- May not be a current elected official or running for office
* Via cash sponsorship, in-kind sponsorship or a VIP Club member
Chair Roles
Ongoing
- Serve on selection committee for future Honorary Chairs
- Lend reputation, name and face to fund development efforts
- Act as an ambassador at the Emerald Club
Before the Festival
- Attend April and July Committee Meetings
- Attend promotional events
- Start the 5K Race
- Attend the Honorary Chair Festival Kick-off Dinner
During the Festival
- Promotional appearances
- Media interviews
- Honorary Chair Reception and Festival Dedication
- VIP Club visits throughout the weekend
- Judge Wee Folk contests
- Closing Ceremony/Festival Finale

- Must be a resident(s) of the City of Dublin for the last three years or a corporate citizen(s) of the City of Dublin for the last three years
- Must be an active leader(s) in the community on a volunteer basis
- Must have been involved in service projects or volunteer efforts outside of work requirements in the past year
- May not be a current elected official or running for office
- May not have been recognized by the City in the past five years
- Nominations made anonymously will not be considered
Grand Marshall Roles
- Serve as media spokesperson
- Must attend the Independence Day Parade and Evening Celebration
- Preside over the Parade and Evening Celebration
- Judge the table decorating contest
