Dublin Police Host 7th Annual Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive

(Dublin, Ohio) — The Dublin Police Department is turning on the lights for a brighter cause—bringing joy to children and families through its annual Fill-A-Cruiser Toy Drive! Partnering for the seventh straight year with Get Behind The Badge, they aim to deliver holiday smiles to families across our community. Each year, this drive provides toys for more than 100 children of fallen or critically injured first responders and other local families in need.

“Every year, our toy drive reminds us of what community truly means in Dublin,” Chief of Police Justin Páez says. “The kindness shown by our residents continues to inspire our members. By partnering once again with the Get Behind the Badge team, we’re able to share that generosity with families and ensure that children experience the joy of the holiday season.”

Those who want to participate have two opportunities this year. The first is at our Annual Tree Lighting ceremony Dec. 4, 6-8 p.m. in Coffman Park. You will find a marked area for donations. The other is at our regular drive-thru event:

What: Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive
When: Saturday, Dec. 13
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Dublin Justice Center, 6565 Commerce Pkwy

To help all age groups, community members are asked to donate presents for children in two age categories: newborn to 10 years old and 11-17 years old. Gift cards are also accepted and are a great choice for our young adults. Additionally, Get Behind The Badge uses gift cards to purchase clothing and other items needed for winter.
