Project Overview
The City of Dublin is planning infrastructure improvements in the Northern Historic Dublin area along North Riverview Street, North Street, N. Blacksmith Lane and Wing Hill Lane. This project, known as Riverview Village, supports a more connected, pedestrian-focused district linking Historic Dublin, The Dublin Link bridge and future river access at Riverside Crossing Park – West.

Work Details
- Realigning the North Street and N. Riverview Street intersection to improve traffic flow
- New and expanded brick sidewalks and pedestrian connections
- Additional on-street parking and ADA-accessible spaces
- A new public plaza and enhanced crosswalks
- Street widening for service and emergency access
- Decorative lighting, including streetlights and catenary lighting
- Streetscape enhancements consistent with Historic District standards
Timeline
Design: Began in 2024
Construction Start: May 11, 2026
Substantial Completion: Aug. 24, 2027
Final Completion: Nov. 5, 2027

What to Expect
During construction, residents and visitors may experience:
- Temporary street closures or traffic changes
- Short-term driveway access impacts
- Construction noise during working hours
- Access to all properties will be maintained and efforts will be made to minimize disruptions
Utility Work
As part of this project, some properties will transition from overhead to underground electric service. Brief power interruptions (typically 1–4 hours) will occur with advance notice.
City Services
Emergency services will not be impacted. Police and fire departments will be notified of any traffic changes. Trash and recycling collection will continue as scheduled unless otherwise communicated.
