The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) is transitioning into phase two of its Refresh Master Plan! The City of Dublin invites you to the second DCRC Refresh Community Engagement Session at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the City Council Chamber (5555 Perimeter Drive).
Since the first engagement session, MSA Design has compiled feedback from community members and conducted various stakeholder meetings. The second session will act as a workshop. MSA will present a plan based on community feedback and discuss observations from guest comments. Guests in attendance will be split into groups to provide discussion points and questions they have.
Multiple plans, ideas and solutions will be presented; community feedback is encouraged!
Those who cannot attend the meeting may provide feedback using the TellDublin platform.
In 2022, Dublin City Council directed $3.1 million of ARPA funds to initiate multiple phases for renovations to the DCRC. The initial phase included replacement of the indoor track surface, upgrades to the fitness floor equipment and furnishings, and the addition of an outdoor fitness area. Council subsequently directed City staff to begin a comprehensive update of the DCRC Refresh master plan to find future phases of renovations identified in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan that was approved in October 2023.
