Update on 4/7/26:
We can confirm that the individual found deceased in the field on March 25 has been identified as Rachael M. Morgan, age 46. No obvious signs of trauma were reported by the Coroner’s Office. At this time, no additional details are available for release.
The City of Dublin and the Dublin Police Department extend condolences to the family and loved ones affected.
Initial statement posted on 3/25/26:
Dublin Police are investigating after potential human remains were discovered in a field along Riverside Drive, south of Bright Road. The discovery was reported earlier today.
Officers are coordinating with the Franklin County Coroner’s Office as the investigation continues.
