Avery Road Shared Use Path Project

Project Overview:
The City of Dublin is preparing to begin construction on the Avery Road Shared Use Path Project, which will improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity along the west side of Avery Road.  The project includes the construction of a new 8-foot-wide shared use path between Cramer’s Crossing Drive and Woerner-Temple Road.

Additional improvements include drainage upgrades, select sidewalk and curb ramp enhancements and new lighting in select locations. Once complete, the project will provide a safer and more accessible route for pedestrians, cyclists and other path users along this section of Avery Road.

Traffic Impact:
Most construction will take place within the public right-of-way. Residents, businesses and travelers may notice construction equipment in the area, intermittent lane restrictions and minor access disruptions. The City will work to maintain safe access and minimize inconvenience throughout construction.

  • No traffic impact. Occasional stoppage of traffic for trucks entering and exiting project.

Timeline:
Construction is scheduled to begin Aug. 10, 2026

Completion:

September 2026
