(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin is ready to celebrate all things USA on July 4! The daylong celebration begins at 8 a.m. with the 38th Annual Sherm Sheldon Fishing Derby at the Avery Park Pond (7401 Avery Road). A traditional parade will follow at 11 a.m. in Downtown Dublin. The day will conclude with evening performances headlined by multi-Grammy nominee Martina McBride at Dublin Coffman High School, along with a spectacular fireworks show presented by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center beginning at 9:50 p.m. Julie Erwin Rinaldi will serve as the Grand Marshal, presiding over the exciting lineup of activities.
Parade Traffic Impacts
The following closures will be in effect from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Exit 17A off 270 and S.R. 161 between Exit 17A southbound exit to the Riverside Drive roundabout and Riverside Drive from S.R. 161 to John Shields Pkwy will be closed. Evening Celebration Traffic Impacts
Parts of Emerald Parkway will be closed 9:30–11 p.m. before and after the fireworks show. If parking in a public lot, remember to follow the designated exit routes from your parking lot after the event.

Evening Celebration General Information
Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be brought into the stadium. Security personnel will check coolers and bags upon entry. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold at the event.
Accessibility Information
Accessible parking is available during the parade at John Sells Middle School (150 W. Bridge Street) and the evening celebration at Dublin Coffman High School (6780 Coffman Road). During the parade, a designated viewing area for senior citizens and guests with disabilities is in front of Mr. Tire at 218 W. Bridge Street. Accessible seating during the evening celebration is available at the southeast corner of the main stands at Coffman Stadium. Guests using a wheelchair should enter the stadium through Gate 2. Lighting and sound effects may be used during the parade and evening celebration. The City recommends consulting your physician before the festivities.
Prohibited Items
All bags will be checked upon entry. Items and activities not permitted inside of the stadium include drones, alcohol, fireworks of any kind, including sparklers and candles, glass bottles,
glitter and confetti, gum, knives, pets (except service animals), smoking (including e-cigarettes), tents and tarps, rollerblades, bikes, skateboards, scooters and soliciting or distributing promotional items.
