City of Dublin Fleet Division Named Among 100 Best Fleets in the Americas

(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin’s Fleet Division has earned national recognition as one of the 100 Best Fleets in the Americas, ranking among the top-performing public and commercial fleet operations across North and South America.

The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas program recognizes peak-performing public and commercial fleet operations and encourages continuous performance improvement and innovation within the fleet industry.

Dublin’s recognition reflects the Fleet Division’s commitment to responsible stewardship, operational excellence and customer-focused service. The division manages a diverse fleet that supports essential City services while advancing sustainability initiatives through electric vehicle adoption, alternative fuels and public charging infrastructure.

The City’s Fleet Division is a Certified Fleet Management Operation and Certified Automotive Service Excellence Blue Seal Shop. Beyond maintaining and replacing City vehicles and equipment, the team advances service, sustainability and operational excellence through GPS-enabled snowplow and leaf collection tracking, support of Dublin’s Sustainable2050 Platinum certification, data-driven fleet utilization reviews and strategic lifecycle planning. Fleet staff also engage residents through programs and events like Experience Public Works Day and McDaniel Citizen University, providing insight into the vital role fleet operations play in serving the community.
