(Dublin, Ohio) — Four neighborhood-led projects designed to enhance and beautify Dublin communities are moving forward with support from the City. Dublin City Council approved $20,000 in funding for four projects through the fall 2026 Beautify Your Neighborhood Matching Grant Program at its Aug. 24 meeting.
Established in 2011, the program provides annual funding assistance to Dublin homeowners associations and civic associations for high-quality, sustainable beautification projects that enhance their neighborhoods and the broader Dublin community. The four applications were first reviewed by the City’s Community Development Committee, which recommended approval.
Fall 2026 Project Descriptions:
Bishop’s Run ($5,000)
Four underused turf areas along Hyland-Croy Road will be transformed with native prairie and wildflower plantings, reducing mowing, irrigation and long-term maintenance while adding seasonal color and habitat. Two stone benches and additional ornamental landscaping will also be installed.
Llewellyn Farms ($5,000)
Six neighborhood entrances will receive refreshed landscaping and new solar lighting. Improvements include removing aging and overgrown plant material, adding ornamental shrubs, perennials and groundcover and pruning or transplanting existing landscaping where appropriate.
Wellington Place ($5,000)
Two neighborhood ponds near Brand Road and Coventry Woods Drive will receive erosion-control and shoreline improvements. The project will stabilize pond banks, restore disturbed turf and enhance the appearance of the neighborhood entrance along Brand Road.
Willow Grove ($5,000)
The Willow Grove Place North and South entrances along Emerald Parkway will receive refreshed landscaping, including new shrubs, flowering plants and groundcover to enhance both neighborhood entryways.
The City will accept applications for the next round of Beautify Your Neighborhood grants in spring 2027. Neighborhood associations interested in applying must submit a pre-application by Dec. 4, 2026. Program guidelines, eligibility requirements and application information are available at dublinohiousa.gov/beautify-your-neighborhood-matching-grant.
