(Dublin, OH) Dublin City Council approved the two applications submitted for Spring 2023 Beautify Your Neighborhood Grants. The grant applications were first reviewed by the City’s Community Development Committee, which recommended approval.
The Beautify Your Neighborhood Matching Grant Program was established in 2011 to provide funding assistance on an annual basis to support Dublin Homeowners Associations and Civic Associations in enhancing their neighborhood with high-quality, sustainable beautification projects that benefit and enhance the Dublin community.
Project Descriptions
Lakes of Dunmere ($5,000)
The project includes planting a variety of perennial native species that attract pollinators and are non-invasive on the north and south sides of the neighborhood entrance at Muirfield Drive and Dunabbey Loop. The landscaping will be bordered by a dry stacked Blue Vein Limestone wall to enhance the community’s curb appeal.
Villas at St. Andrews ($5,000)
The project includes adding a variety of native plants within the planting beds along the neighborhood’s condo units and main entrance on Monterey Drive. Additional plantings will be added within the landscape buffer along Frantz Road which will improve screening conditions and noise abatement from the adjacent roadway. The new plantings will improve the curb appeal and beautify the community.
The City will be accepting applications for another round of grants in the fall. The deadline to apply for the fall grants is June 23. Neighborhoods interested in more information should visit https://dublinohiousa.gov/beautify-your-neighborhood-matching-grant.
