City of Dublin Names New Director of Economic Development

(Dublin, OH) The City of Dublin today announced that Jeremiah Gracia, CEcD, has accepted the position of Director of Economic Development, effective Oct. 9. Mr. Gracia has more than 15 years of economic and business development experience, including nine years with the City of Dublin. He joins Dublin from his most recent role leading economic development efforts for Grand Rapids, Mich.

Mr. Gracia served as a member of the economic development team for the City of Dublin from 2011 to 2020. He holds both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration degrees from Bowling Green State University. He received his Certified Economic Developer professional designation in 2015 from the International Economic Development Council.

“Dublin is thrilled to welcome Jeremiah Gracia back as our economic development director,” says Megan O’Callaghan, Dublin’s City Manager. “Jeremiah is a respected figure both in our community and throughout the region. His return not only brings with it the wealth of knowledge and relationships he cultivated during his nine-year tenure in our city but also the invaluable experience and leadership he has gained during his time in Grand Rapids, Michigan.”

Prior to his roles with Grand Rapids and the City of Dublin, Mr. Gracia worked in Findlay, Ohio with the Findlay-Hancock County Economic Development Office and with the North Central Campus for Emerging Technologies. In 2014, he served as president of the Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA). He was named to the Development Counsellors International (DCI) list of “40 Under 40 in Economic Development” in 2017.
