(Dublin, Ohio) The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) is transitioning into the final stages of updating the DCRC Refresh Master Plan! The City of Dublin invites you to the third DCRC Refresh Community Engagement Session at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at the DCRC in Talla 1.
Since the first engagement session, MSA Design has compiled feedback from community members and conducted various stakeholder meetings. During the second session, MSA presented ideas based on community feedback, discussed observations from guest comments and answered questions about the refresh’s connections to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
A presentation by the designer will begin at 6 p.m. Guests will then have an hour to walk around to different stations of project renderings and share feedback or ask questions in an open-house-style session.
This will be the final in-person engagement session on this project — community feedback is encouraged!
Those who cannot attend the meeting may provide feedback using the TellDublin platform.
In 2022, Dublin City Council directed $3.1 million of ARPA funds to initiate multiple phases for renovations to the DCRC. The initial phase included replacement of the indoor track surface, upgrades to the fitness floor equipment and furnishings, and the addition of an outdoor fitness area. Council subsequently directed City staff to begin a comprehensive update of the DCRC Refresh master plan to find future phases of renovations identified in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan that was approved in October 2023.
