Dublin Irish Festival Wins Big at the International Festival and Events Association Pinnacle Awards

(Dublin, Ohio) —The luck of the Irish lives on after the 67th annual International Festival and Events Association (IFEA) Convention, Expo and Retreat in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition winners were announced during the convention, and the City of Dublin was among the many honored for festival and event excellence.

Awards were presented across 62 categories to honor the achievements and high-quality creative, promotional, operational, and community outreach efforts of festivals and events worldwide. Categories included TV/Radio, social and multimedia, print, merchandise and festival and event programs such as sponsorship, education, accessibility, youth, emergency preparedness and entertainment.

Since 1988, the first weekend in August has been reserved for the world’s largest three-day Irish celebration. The Dublin Irish Festival provides a unique opportunity for locals and tourists alike to immerse themselves in Ireland’s rich heritage, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie in the picturesque surroundings of Coffman Park.

“The City of Dublin is proud to be recognized again at the IFEA Pinnacle Awards,” Community Events Director Alison LeRoy says. “Being honored with other international events and festivals is in step with our efforts to showcase Dublin’s experiences and innovations on the world stage.”
