The City of Columbus is installing a new water transmission main from the intersection of Shire Creek Court and Dublin Road to the Blazer Parkway elevated storage tank. The water line project area is located in the Hayden Run planning area (project area map).The goal of this project is to meet increasing water demands in the northwest part of the Division of Water’s (DOW)service area.
The project will include approximately 12,000 linear feet of new 30-inch diameter water line. Along with the installation of the new water main, the project will also include new fire hydrant installations.

Work Status:
- Crews will begin digging a trench along Frantz Road to install the water line.
Traffic Impact:
- Northbound Frantz Road will be reduced to one lane from Hayden Run Road to Tuttle Road.
