To improve water transmission and water storage tank turnover, the City of Columbus has contracted with Complete General Construction to install a 30-inch diameter water main from Hilliard’s Dublin Road and Shire Creek Court intersection to Dublin’s Rings Road Water Tower. The project will also include new fire hydrants.
Work began Nov. 27 and will be complete spring 2025. Within Dublin, installation will occur along Frantz Road at Tuttle Crossing Boulevard to Parkcenter Avenue to Blazer Parkway to the water tower. Initial work started on Frantz and Dublin roads and will move south. Work north of Frantz Road will begin later in 2024.
Construction involves digging trenches to install the 30-inch diameter water main and installing new fire hydrants. Access to driveways, mail service and trash pick-up will be maintained during the project.
