Dublin Talent Connect Virtual Hiring Event Offers Workforce Recruitment Support to Dublin Businesses

The City of Dublin is partnering with Chatstrike, Inc., a Dublin-based business itself, for “Dublin Talent Connect,” a free virtual hiring event held Monday, May 20, through Friday, May 24, to attract potential employees to Dublin companies and support workforce recruitment.

“Our Dublin Talent Connect events have been well received by our Dublin-based businesses,” says City of Dublin Director of Economic Development Jeremiah Gracia, CEcD. “Just as Dublin is the place where businesses want to be located, we’re where people want to work also. This is a great opportunity to support our business community and bring outstanding new talent to the City.”

Chatstrike’s online experience is appealing to job seekers for the 24/7 flexibility and convenience it allows both employers and employees. For prospective employees, the virtual environment provides a 24-hour virtual lobby to review job opportunities from participating companies, ask questions online, submit applications and respond to requests from recruiters. For recruiters, the online format is an efficient way to review applications and speed up the initial screening process.

“Dublin Talent Connect events are an excellent way for employers to connect with a wide range of candidates via an easy-to-use platform. I’ve always enjoyed participating in these events and have appreciated the volume of candidates I’ve been able to interact with,” says Randy Dineen, Infoverity. “As a talent acquisition professional, the ability to speak with a large number of candidates in a short amount of time checks all the boxes for me when it comes to an event.”

This is the fifth Dublin Talent Connect hiring event the City of Dublin has sponsored. To date, more than 5,000 job seekers have made almost 2,500 connections with participating businesses on the platform.
