The City of Columbus is installing a new water transmission main from the intersection of Shire Creek Court and Dublin Road to the Blazer Parkway elevated storage tank. The water line project area is located in the Hayden Run planning area (project area map).The goal of this project is to meet increasing water demands in the northwest part of the Division of Water’s (DOW)service area.
The project will include approximately 12,000 linear feet of new 30-inch diameter water line. Along with the installation of the new water main, the project will also include new fire hydrant installations.

Work Status:
- Installation of 30” water line starting at Shire Creek Court (Hilliard), up Dublin Road to Frantz Road, then to Parkcenter Avenue to the Blazer Parkway elevated water tower.
Traffic Impact:
- Asphalt paving of Parkcenter Avenue and Blazer Parkway roadways.
- Westbound Parkcenter Avenue is open from Frantz Road to Bradenton Avenue.
- Eastbound Parkcenter Avenue is closed from Bradenton Avenue to Frantz Road.
- Right lane of northbound Frantz Rd from Tuttle Crossing to Parkcenter Avenue will be closed for asphalt paving operation
- Eastbound Parkcenter Avenue will be one-lane, two-way traffic via flaggers for asphalt paving operation.
