We offer year-round camp programs and activities designed to keep the fun, learning, and camp adventure going all year long! We offer these camps when Dublin City Schools is not in session.

The City of Dublin has adopted a new, simplified pricing and registration structure for parks and recreation services, including summer camps. Starting January 1, 2025, registration categories will fall into two groups: City of Dublin Residents and Non-Residents. Click here for more information
For Summer Camps held at Dublin City Schools, all Dublin City School District residents will continue to receive preferred pricing and priority registration alongside City of Dublin residents. For camps held at all other locations, School District residents will fall into the Non-Resident category.
Camps are open to preschool, youth and teen participants. More detailed information on specific camp programming options, registration dates and how to register will be shared by the end of January. Information will be outlined via email through our Summer Camp mailing list, in the Spring/Summer Healthy Brochure and on our camps webpage.
To allow for a fair registration process, registration takes place online only at DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/dcrc/. There is no in-person or over-the-phone registration.
Recreation Services promotes an inclusive policy for all our programs. To discuss camp options to best suit your child’s needs or interests, please contact Meaghan Campbell-Reimer, Adaptive Recreation Coordinator, at mmcampbell@dublin.oh.us for an inquiry of needs to form an accommodation plan. An accommodation plan could carry over IEP/504 accommodations and must be completed prior to the start of the camp.

The camp fair provides parents with an opportunity to talk with staff and have their questions answered so they can best prepare for camp registration. The Summer Camp Fair assists parents in finding the best camp options for their child.
Priority registration begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4 for City of Dublin Residents and Dublin City School District Residents who want to register and commit to the entire 8-week camp season. By choosing priority registration for the 8-week camp season, you are not eligible for refunds, credits or transfers. This policy is non-negotiable. During priority registration, School District Residents may only register for camps held inside a Dublin City School building.
Weekly registration begins at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 6, for City of Dublin Residents and Dublin City School District Residents who would like to choose the weeks their child is registered for camp and be eligible for refunds, credits, and transfers. During weekly registration, School District Residents may only register for camps held inside a Dublin City School building.
Non-resident registration begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 12. Non-residents and School District residents are eligible to register for priority and weekly registration camps. Please Note: If a camp reaches its capacity during an earlier registration period, no additional seats will be available during the non-resident registration.
The American Camp Association© (ACA) has recognized our Wyandot Camp for achieving ACA-Accredited© status for 2025. ACA is the only independent accrediting organization reviewing camp operations in the country. Its nationally recognized standards program focuses primarily on the program quality, health and safety aspects of a camp’s operation. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth serving agencies to assure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. My First Camp
My First Camp is the first step in our summer camp experience. This program introduces summer camp to young children by combining learning and fun in a half-day experience. Activities are designed to increase social development, self-esteem, and independence through games, songs, crafts, nature and sports. Campers have a variety of structured indoor and outdoor, age-specific activities scheduled each day. My First Camp does not go swimming or take field trips. Children must be potty-trained.

Playground Adventure Camp
Playground Adventure is an extension of our first step in the summer camp experience that provides campers with a half-day outdoor camp. This camp offers a variety of amenities and activities designed to increase social development, self-esteem, and independence through games, songs, crafts, nature and sports. Playground Adventure does not go swimming or take field trips.

Camp Kaltenbach – All 8 Weeks
Camp Kaltenbach is the second step in our summer camp experience that provides age-specific activities for continued growth in social development, self-esteem, and independence. This full-day structured camp offers a variety of exploratory activities in sports, science, nature and art. Campers swim once a week and participate in a field trip at the end of the summer.

Wyandot Camps – All 8 Weeks
Wyandot Camp is the third step in the summer camp experience. This is our traditional, full-day camp experience that revolves around the arts, health, wellness, physical activities and nature/science exploration. Campers engage in various structured indoor and outdoor, age-specific activities daily. Camps include weekly field trips, outdoor water days and weekly swimming. A Wyandot Camp Meal Plan is available for interested families at an additional fee. Meal Plan registration is separate from camp registration (see Parent Handbook for complete details and fees).

Extended Weeks Camp
Extended Weeks Camp is exclusively for camp participants enrolled in priority registration (all 8 weeks) for Camp Kaltenbach or Wyandot Camp. Participating in priority registration does not guarantee your child’s enrollment for the extended weeks due to limited enrollments available at each location. Extended Weeks Camp follows the Wyandot Camp daily format. Weekly swimming and field trips included. No meal plan is available during Extended Weeks Camp. Patrons can choose a preferred location during registration.

Wyandot Next
Wyandot Next is the final step in the summer camp experience with activities and field trips designed for tweens and teens entering middle school. This camp offers age-specific programming in the arts, sports and games, team building and nature/science exploration. Camps include weekly field trips, outdoor water days and weekly swimming.
Ages: 11-14
Times: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location: Grizzell Middle School

Adventure Camp
Join us as we create memories to last a lifetime. Campers travel every day to find adventure all around Columbus. A few of our adventures include kayaking, bowling, swimming, ninja courses and various metro parks (and we keep adding to our lineup)! All field trip fees, a camp T-shirt and snacks are included in the camp fee. Campers need to pack their lunch every day. Specific activities vary from week to week.

Registration for Extended Weeks camps opens the same day and time as priority registration and is only available to families who choose priority registration for camp offerings.
We understand that summer plans can change. The City of Dublin makes firm financial commitments to camp staff, field trips and program supplies each summer. Outside of priority registration, all camps cancelled prior to May 16, 2025 will be refunded in full minus a $50.00, non-refundable fee per week, per child. Cancellations made after May 16 will not receive a refund.
Priority Camp Registration remains the same: ’By choosing priority registration for the 8-week camp season, you are not eligible for any refunds, credits or transfers.’
*There will be no exceptions to the Refunds, Credits and Transfers Policy as outlined. Please use the grace periods provided to adjust your weekly camp dates based on any vacation plans, athletic camps, etc. that arise after registering for summer camp. Refunds may not be granted for illness or dismissal from the program due to behavior.

When a camp enrollment reaches the set maximum capacity, it is deemed FULL. Families are encouraged to enroll their child on the wait list for that camp because cancellation requests do occur.
There is no guarantee that a spot will open up, so we do not charge fees for placing children on the wait list. If/when an enrollment spot would open up, the Preschool, Youth, & Teen Programming Team would notify the next person on the wait list to determine interest in enrolling. We strongly recommend having additional enrollment options if your child’s camp week is full at the time you register.
We anticipate available spots will fill quickly and always encourage families to register on the first day of registration.
Additionally, we encourage all families to make an enrollment plan prior to camp registration that includes back-up childcare should you not secure a spot in our camp program.
We are unable to predict if/when a camper will be enrolled from a waitlist, but our camp team closely monitors enrollment and will fill any available spots as soon as they are able.

Yes, we offer a variety of specialty camps. These camps focus on specific interests and provide an opportunity to pursue a particular interest and learn to master a skill—like a specific sport (tennis, soccer, baseball, and more), STEAM, dance, art, academics, etc. Click here to learn more about Specialty Camp offerings.
Our camps are developmentally appropriate for the ages those camps serve. We do not allow exceptions for camper enrollment based on age.

Bocce Ball Courts
Two regulation bocce ball courts are available for public use, subject to senior adult programming and league play. Bocce ball sets may be checked out at the Welcome Desk by players 18 and older.
Classrooms
The classrooms house a variety of programs, including pottery and arts & crafts—meeting the needs of preschoolers, children, teens, adults and senior adults.
Community Hall
The Community Hall provides space for parties, receptions, meetings and community events. The facility seats up to 300 or can be divided into smaller rooms.
Abbey theater of Dublin
A 200-seat theater can be used for musical, theatrical and dance performances; film/video; lectures; and seminars.
Computer Lab
Equipped with workstations and a variety of software programs, the computer lab provides high-speed Internet access and opportunities for beginning and intermediate instruction. Open to ages 18 & up.
Family Locker Rooms
Each family locker room has its own shower, restroom and lockers. One locker room, designed for people with special needs, features a dressing table.
Fitness Area
Looking for free weights and cardiovascular equipment? Check out the fully equipped fitness area on the first floor. You will find treadmills, elliptical machines, bicycles and stair steppers along with free weights, Nautilus and a complete set of Cybex strength equipment.
Group Fitness Studios
If you enjoy group fitness, check out the myriad of classes offered. Two state-of-the-art studios feature suspended floors to help reduce impact and injury. Several pass options are available, allowing participants to choose from a weekly schedule of classes that include Spinning®, Pilates and TRX.
Jogging/Walking Track
Joggers and walkers on the second floor track can cover a mile in 13 laps. An expanse of windows provides views of the pools and the outdoors.
Multi-Purpose Pool
The competitive/lap pool measures 25 yards by 25 meters and has two one-meter diving boards. This pool often is divided for activities such as aqua aerobics, open swim, swim team practice and instruction. Bleachers provide ample seating and a separate entrance makes it perfect for area swim meets. The natatorium walls in both the lap and leisure pools are lined with sound-absorbing material.
Leisure Pool
A unique feature of the DCRC is the leisure pool, which includes a lazy river, clam slide for children, double helix slide for those a little more daring and a zero-foot entry point for cautious tots. The warmer water and 3.5-foot maximum depth make this pool perfect for children, adults and senior adults.
Senior Adult Lounge
An elegant, cozy lounge welcomes senior adults to our center. Enjoy playing cards with friends, reading by a fireplace or simply relaxing in this peaceful environment.
Teen Lounge
A teen lounge offers space and a variety of programming opportunities for Dublin teens.
Wee folk/Youth Lounge
While moms and dads are working out, attending a class or relaxing in the hot tub, they can rest assured that their children—from ages 6 weeks to 12 years—are nearby and safe. Children can play in the indoor or outdoor area or engage in age-appropriate games and activities.
Hours of Operation
Our parks are open for your enjoyment from dawn to dusk, unless otherwise noted at the park or during certain special events.
Shelters/Pavilions
A number of our shelters and pavilions are available to reserve on a first-come, first serve basis. Please be courteous of your neighbors and abide by your reservation times.
Keep it Clean
We’re sure you’ll find Dublin’s parks and bikeways to be clean, beautiful places to enjoy with your family. The City strives to keep its parks, playgrounds and bikeways clean and free of litter. Please leave the parks as clean as you find them so that others will enjoy them as much as you do. Disposal of litter in public places is prohibited unless placed in public trash containers or using City-authorized containers as part of the City’s refuse, recycling and yard waste collection programs.
Pets
We know your furry friends enjoy nature as much as you do. We ask you to be safe and courteous with your pets.
Animals may not run at-large in our parks. All animals must be under the owner’s control at all times. All pets must be securely leashed, kept in a vehicle or suitably caged.
Animal owners also must pick up and properly dispose of any fecal matter left by their pets. It’s not just courteous — it’s the law!
Horses
Horses are allowed in designated areas of Glacier Ridge Metro Park.
Hunting and Fishing
For the safety of our residents, hunting is forbidden in the City. Fishing is permitted in designated areas, including certain City park ponds and in the Scioto River (with a license). Please fish only in ponds where signs prohibiting fishing are not posted.
Respect our Parks
Plants and animals also are part of the Dublin community. Please respect the plant and animal life and ecosystems of our natural areas. Enjoy the flowers, trees and other flora without picking or damaging plants. Touching or disturbing wildlife, including animal and bird nesting areas and eggs can be dangerous to humans — not to mention our flora and fauna! And please do not damage or remove any property or natural feature, including stones and minerals, earth, wood, and nuts. Take only pictures and leave only footprints in our parks.
Dublin Recreation Services is committed to providing quality recreation programs and facilities for the Dublin community. Use of the facilities by families and citizens is strongly encouraged. The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 24 through Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 for annual cleaning, maintenance and repairs. The DCRC will reopen at 5:30am Tuesday, Sept. 3. Offices will be staffed for phone calls from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
