City Council approved an economic development agreement between the City of Dublin and The Ohio State University, a real estate purchase agreement and re-conveyance agreement at its April 22, 2019, regular Council meeting, 6-0 with one council member abstention.
Ohio State has filed an application to rezone 34 acres of land near State Route 161, State Route 33 and Shier Rings Road for medical and related uses. The anticipated first phase of development consists of a comprehensive medical facility, which would support a wide range of outpatient services. Future phases of development are anticipated, with the scope and timing yet to be determined. Application materials are available on the City website at dublinohiousa.gov/pzc/19-055/.
Ohio State is scheduled to present a concept plan to Dublin’s Planning & Zoning Commission on August 22, 2019.
