(Dublin, OH) City Finance Director Angel Mumma has announced she has accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer of COTA. Mumma has served the City of Dublin as Finance Director since 2011.
“While we are sad to lose Angel, we are proud that one of our own will move on to serve the greater Central Ohio region,” said Dublin City Manager Dana McDaniel. “Angel is an amazing talent and we will certainly miss her. She has been instrumental in guiding and helping to maintain Dublin’s incredible financial position while advancing the City during a time of transitional growth and development. We are grateful for her dedicated service to our community and to our City of Dublin family.”
Under Mumma’s leadership, the City’s conservative budgeting and prudent fund balance policies have resulted in strong reserves while retaining ample financial flexibility. The city consistently excels at fiscal stewardship, with bond ratings on its general obligation bonds of ‘Aaa’ from Moody’s since 2004, ‘AAA’ from Fitch since 2001, and, ‘AAA’ from S&P in 2017 and 2018. Other notable highlights include her work with the Dublin City School District in creating an economic development driven cooperative agreement; working with the Development community and staff for the redevelopment of the Bridge Street District, and developing a financial model used for shared dispatch services with neighboring communities.
Prior to joining Dublin, Mumma served the City of Gahanna for 14 years, starting as a part-time Mayor’s Court clerk working her way up to Director of Finance.
Mumma received a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
